Lexicon Systems, LLC is an independent, woman-owned consulting firm headquartered in Houston, TX. We serve clients in the U.S. and globally. We have our own, unique lexicon of knowledge. We have roots in operations, management, environment, health and safety (EHS) and quality. Completed projects in a breadth of industries plus immersion in software product management, development and implementation allow us to advise senior management in a variety of industries.
HISTORY
Jill Barson Gilbert founded Lexicon Systems, LLC, a management consulting firm based on the fusion of business, Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) and hands-on operations and EHS experience. The firms’ primary focus was helping clients navigate complex enterprise EHS software deployments. Lexicon served as “translator” among key stakeholders in enterprise-wide EHS implementations, providing key deliverables, training and often managing the project.
At the same time, Lexicon advised private equity, venture capital
and consulting firms as part of due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
(M&A). Lexicon’s efforts provided valuable market intelligence for
use by investors and senior management during strategic planning.
In addition, Lexicon completed a number of product and service marketing
assignments for independent software vendors (ISVs).
Today, our services include IS/IT consulting, Market Assessments
and Business Advisory consulting. The common thread is how Lexicon
applies technology and methodologies to formulate solutions to client’s
challenges. Whether or not the challenge involves systems or software,
technology helps client organizations to become more agile. Further,
it helps clients to improve enterprise risk management (ERM), enterprise
performance management (EPM) and compliance management.
